Applied Control Technology Consortium (ACTC)Scheduled Training:
|
![]() |
This Scheduled Training Course is open to employees of ACTC member companies and also paying delegates from companies that are not ACTC members. There are a limited number of places, and allocation is on a first come first served basis, so early registration is advised.
Each ACTC member company is allowed a maximum of 2 delegates on each Scheduled Training Course. This is to allow each ACTC member to get a fair chance of accessing each course. However, if there is low uptake for a particular course then we would be happy to increase this number. For this particular course, the first registered place is free of charge to ACTC member companies, with subsequent places provided at the reduced rate of £300 per delegate.
A small proportion of places on these Scheduled Training Courses are also made available to paying non-member companies. The rate for this course is £1200 per delegate. Registrations can be made using the form below. Please ensure the payment details section of the form is completed. Alternatively, a printable agenda and registration form is available here.
NOTE: This course has since been held and registration is now closed. We will be holding it again in the near future, so please contact us if you are interested in attending.
This course has been specifically formulated for engineers who need a basic introduction to the control of servomechanisms. Illustrative examples and hands-on exercises are used extensively to reinforce the underlying control theory presented. The hands-on sessions will use control system design software as well as practical servo trainer hardware.
The course will be presented in an informal environment by ACTC Consultants, giving delegates the opportunity to gain from our own practical expertise. Numbers on the course are restricted to ensure that each delegate gets individual attention. Hence, early registration is advisable.
